Intended use
SinusLab is a nasal irrigation device intended for routine nasal and sinus hygiene. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not replace medical or surgical care.
Use only safe water
Do not use water straight from the tap. Use one of the following:
- Distilled or sterile water, or
- Water that has been boiled for at least [3-5] minutes and then cooled to a safe temperature, or
- Water passed through a filter designed to remove infectious organisms.
Untreated tap water can contain organisms that are safe to swallow but are not safe in the nasal passages. Follow the instructions supplied with the product.
Clean the device
Rinse and dry the device after each use, and replace the nose tips as directed. Do not share the device or its tips with another person.
Talk to your doctor first if
- You have recently had ear, nose, sinus or skull base surgery.
- You have an ear infection, a blocked ear, or a perforated eardrum.
- You are under active treatment for a nasal or sinus condition.
- You are using the device for a child.
Stop and seek advice if
You experience pain, bleeding, persistent ear discomfort, fever, or symptoms that get worse rather than better. Nasal irrigation should not be painful.
